Celebrities walk the red carpet at the Met Gala 2022 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.
The 2022 event are been stacked with A-list celebrities, with hosts Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, and Lin-Manuel Miranda leading the charge alongside honorary co-chairs Tom Ford and Anna Wintour.
After the coronavirus pandemic prompted the cancellation of the 2020 event and the postponement of last year's until the autumn, the fundraiser has returned to its customary early May date.
"In America: An Anthology of Fashion," "Gilded Glamour and White Tie," was the theme for this year's event. In keeping with the Costume Institute's accompanying two-part show, "In America: An Anthology of Fashion," the theme is scheduled to continue the examination of American style in 2021.
Kim Kardashian dazzled us by wearing the legendary outfit worn by Marilyn Monroe when she sang "Happy Birthday" to JFK. Kim also attended the Met gala with her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Blake Lively's custom Versace dress, which pays homage to Patina of the Statue of Liberty, was, of course, the topic of the night. As she mounted the stairs, her copper-colored gown morphed into a flowing blue-coppery gown.
Alicia Keys' New York City fashion themed gown was another red carpet fashion statement we adored. The 41-year-old singer of "Empire State of Mind" arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a Ralph Lauren silver gown and black cloak embroidered with the Manhattan skyline.
Swizz Beatz, her spouse, was also dressed in a Yankees-inspired ensemble, complete with a bomber jacket and baseball cap.
Here are some more looks from the themed event. Some celebrities where dressed on theme, while some just completely ignored the theme of the night.
