Shakira and Gerard Pique have broken up, according to the Colombian singer and Barcelona star.
Milan and Sasha are the couple's two boys, who have been together since 2010.
Shakira's media team put out a statement that reads: "We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding."
It follows reports that the Barcelona defender was caught in bed with another woman.
Suzy Cortez, also known as Miss BumBum, said that Pique had hit on her during the scandal.
She went into great detail about how she met Pique, even revealing that she received texts from the soccer player asking for measurements of one of her body parts.
Gerard Pique wrote her messages, according to Cortez, although some of them were not pleasant.
"He was the one who sent me a more direct -message-. Messi and Coutinho were the only Barcelona players who never sent me anything. They are great husbands and they respect their wives a lot. Shakira didn't deserve this," Cortez told El Diario NY.
