Sir David Osagie passed away recently.
The actor, who generally portrays the character of a king in films, passed away barely hours after filming.
His coworkers, who shared the terrible news of his passing on Instagram, stated he was on set yesterday, May 3, only to learn of his death this morning.
His coworkers have begun to pay tribute to him.
Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeh, who confirmed his death, stated that the actor was not sick, but rather slept and did not wake up the next day.
On Instagram, she wrote: “I hate to say this but we have lost another Nollywood king, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, it just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood. Oh Lord have mercy. I Mourn again oh.”
"This can't be explained oh, he filmed yesterday and went back to rest hoping to resume shoot today but never woke up," actress Ibiwari wrote.
"Another king role interpreter has left the building.
What is this oh God.”
Sir David Osagie leaves behind a wife and children.
His death comes just hours after actress Chinedu Bernard died in an Enugu church after collapsing.
