The Super Eagles hero is the son of a Nigerian father from Etinan in Akwa Ibom State's Etinan local government area and a Dutch mother, Eleanore Troost.
His Dutch mother was shown carrying him on the back in the traditional Nigerian fashion, tied with a wrapper, in one photo, and with the customary Nigerian broom and packer in another. He captioned the posts, “Naija Boy.”
