Ed Sheeran and wife welcome their second child


Ed Sheeran, 31, and Cherry Seaborn, 30, have welcomed a baby daughter into their family. 


The Thinking Out Loud hitmaker stunned everyone when he announced his pregnancy on Thursday evening, May 19, especially because the couple chose to keep it a secret. 


"Want to let you all know we've had another beautiful baby girl," Sheeran casually captioned a shot of a pair of gorgeous white booties on a brown blanket. He added, “We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x.” 

The birth of Sheeran and Seaborn's second child is unknown. In a follow-up statement, a spokeswoman for the singer informed The Sun: 

"Ed and Cherry recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl and are on cloud nine. 


'They're so excited for Lyra to have a little sister and the four of them are currently enjoying some precious family time before Ed heads back on tour. 


'We are delighted for them, and we hope that you can respect their privacy at this special time.' 



Sheeran and Seaborn, both 30, have a daughter named Lyra Antarctica, who was born in August 2020. They announced the arrival of their baby girl with a touching Instagram message at the time.
