The newborn girl's name has finally been announced three months after Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra had their first child via surrogate.
Malti was born just after 8 p.m. on Jan. 15 at a San Diego hospital, according to TMZ, which obtained the child's birth certificate and was the first to report her name.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much," Chopra wrote in a short remark on her Instagram on Jan. 22 in her announcement post, which included a heart emoji.

In 2018, Chopra and Jonas wedded in a beautiful ceremony where they had a blend of both their cultures, Chopra being Indian and Jonas being American, that spanned several days.
