Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has asked the State Ministry of Education to reopen all Chrisland Schools that have been closed across the state.
On Monday, April 25, 2022, the schools that were closed due to allegations of sexual misconduct by several pupils in Dubai and a video that went viral on social media will return.
"The directive follows a review of the current administrative investigation into the incident," said state Commissioner of Education Folashade Adefisayo, who announced the reopening order.

Adefisayo explained that the state government had shut the schools for the safety of students and staff and to ensure an unhindered investigation of the incident.
She continued: "The Ministry of Education and other relevant agencies of the state, in conjunction with the school’s parent-teacher association, will be working on scheduling psychosocial support for the students.
