Nearly one year after reuniting, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are set to tie the knot.

On Friday, April 8, the American actress and singer announced their engagement in a brief video she uploaded on her fan newsletter "On The JLo."

In the video, JLo couldn't hold back her tears as she proudly displayed her stunning emerald engagement ring and exclaimed, "You're perfect."



The couple was previously engaged in 2002, but the engagement was called off. In 2021, they rekindled their romance.

"We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different points in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things," Lopez told People. With ex-husband Marc Anthony, the 52-year-old has 14-year-old twins Emme and Max, and Affleck, 49, has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.

Lopez and Affleck started dating in July 2002 and got engaged in November, but their September 2003 wedding was postponed only days before the big day. In January 2004, they called off their engagement.
