Derenle Edun, a popular Nigerian TV host and presenter, revealed in an interview that he had more than just a friendship relationship with the late singer Goldie, despite the fact that he knew she was married.

He claimed that their bond was unique and that he was the driving factor behind it.

He went on to say that they kept their affair a secret because the late singer was married and they didn't want their affair to raise any eyebrows.

Denrele and Goldie were very close friends before Goldie's untimely death. On Valentine's Day, which also happens to be the anniversary of her death, the talented media personality has been paying her respects at her gravesite.

He stated that he visits the location to keep the memory of the late singer alive.
