Burna Boy graces the cover of Rolling Stone, where he talks about his music and pets.

In the interview, the interviewer described how he was advised not to ask Burna about cars, relationships, or comparisons to other artists.

In his interview, Burna announced a new upcoming single, and he also discussed life, revealing his decision to bring his team in-house; "Those are the only people that I’m comfortable enough with for me. It’s just the safest way. I don’t really feel too comfortable with my life in people’s hands and shit like that, and that means anybody, including the family, but at least with the family, it feels a little better." Burna's team includes his family, his sister, Ronami, as creative director, and his other sibling, Nissi, is signed to his record label, and his mom, Bose, as his manager.

The Grammy award winner also revealed some interesting facts about the first ever song to make him cry: "The hardest thing I’ve heard in my life was Mark Morrison’s song, ‘Innocent Man’. That’s the first thing that ever made me cry. "
He also revealed that after visiting the UK for the first time when he was 12, that was when he was very sure that he wanted to venture into music. His grandfather, Benson Inojie, supported and nurtured his musical career.

Burna further discussed being different at first in the music industry, but is happy that being different takes the lead now. He expressed being happy with the direction Nigerian music is taking. He talked about his international collaborations and many more.
