Ikuforiji Olaitan, better known as Oxlade, the Afro-pop musician, has apologized to his followers and an anonymous woman for his leaked sex tape.

On Saturday evening, three days after the sex footage was revealed, Oxlade issued an apology on his Twitter account and Instagram story.

The 24-year-old apologized, saying that he is not the type of guy who knowingly publishes such content. He implied that the person or individuals who released the film had deceived him, then apologized to the lady in the tape as well as his "fans and well-wishers." "I am aware that my business is open to the public, and I am not the type of person who would put my personal affairs on display. " Betrayals are very real and in this same token, I want to apologize to the woman in the video, who did not deserve this type of exposure, and lastly, apologize to my fans and well-wishers," his apology read.

We previously reported that around five distinct films of the musician were posted via social media in the late hours of Wednesday, in which he could be seen having sexual intercourse with an unnamed lady.

Oxlade allegedly sent the video as a streak on the social media platform Snapchat, where it was filmed and shared online.
