Sex tape scandals are nothing new in the Nigerian entertainment industry, with Tiwa Savage and skit maker Bae U being the most recent victims.

Oxlade apparently created a Snapchat streak and handed it to a pal to show how he smashed an unidentified girl, and the guy then recorded the video on his phone and posted it online, according to reports.

Oxlade is a global superstar among music fans, having made waves with his tuneful, trademark Afro-fusion sound. He was born in Surulere and is a student at Lagos State University.
