Popular Nigerian businessman Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, cautions social media users impersonating him.

The Anambra businessman went on a live post on Facebook on January 29th, where he revealed, "This is my only verified Facebook page." A lot of guys are using my name (Obi Cubana, Obi Iyiegbu) to do a lot of bad things on Facebook. The name Obi Cubana is not associated with anything bad or evil. Please disregard, block and report. For me to come up to do this, you guys should know that it is really getting to me. Thank God that Facebook has verified me right now, so we can interact more here. You can't destroy what we've worked so hard to build over the years. "

NDLEA charged the businessman in Abuja earlier this year, and he was eventually given bail and told to reappear at a later date. Three convicted drug dealers from Malaysia, Nigeria, and India made suspicious payments to Cubana's account, according to sources.

The Cubana group is chaired by Obi Cubana, an entrepreneur and businessman. His career as an entrepreneur began in 2006, when he opened the Ibiza nightclub in Abuja. He also opened a hospitality club named Cubana in Owerri, Imo state, in 2009.
