Mercy Aigbe clears the air concerning the news of her ex-husband and her new lover being friends.

On January 26, the popular TVC morning talk show, "Your View," where they talked about the actress's new relationship, was the topic of the show.
As the show came to an end, Mercy Aigbe put a call into the show through the talk show host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown. The show host revealed that the actress had been trying to reach them and couldn't get through to them, so she left a text message. 
The message was read out loud by Morayo. She read, "I just want to clear the impression that Adekaz isn't Lanre Gentry's friend."


The actress was married to Lanre Gentry, but the marriage failed, along with a lot of social media controversy. She claimed he hit her; he was a deadbeat father. While he claimed she was unfaithful and, at one point, granted an interview with Punch where she was emotional, asking people to help her beg her ex-husband to sign the divorce papers.
At the present time, she posted her new man, Kazim Adeoti, who is a partner/investor with Ibaka TV. However, in the comment section, fans picked up that he is a married man with four children.
