Regina Daniel's father, Jude Ojegwu makes an appearance at the naming ceremony his grandchild. This came as a huge surprise to everyone, giving that her father strongly opposed to her marriage due to the age gap.

The naming ceremony for Regina Daniel's and Ned Nwoko's son, Munir Neji Nwoko, took place on Friday, July 10, he was reportedly named after her husband, Ned. Ned announced that Munir is his Middle name as a Muslim, which meant light. He also revealed to the media present that he is still a young man, and hasn't reached his target in child bearing.

Speaking to newsmen, Mr. Ojegwu said;

“The birth of this child has answered the question (about the controversy). Everybody craves for peace, joy, and happiness. I have accepted everything. I feel very happy having a grandchild and that is why I am here. I traveled all the way from Lagos to this place just to celebrate with the family. I told him (Nwoko) and the mother to call him Ifechukwude which means what God has written.” Ojegwu said.
