Senator Adebayo Osinowo representing the Lagos east Senatorial district in the senate has died.

The senator died Monday, June 15 I  the First cardiologist hospital Lagos state and the reports have it that the Senator died from COVID-19 complications. 

The senator came into seat February 23, 2019 where he was elected as the senator representing Lagos East Senatorial district at the National assembly.

The senator was popularly known for his nick name Pepperito, he died at age 64.

Punch   reported that the senator, "three days earlier, was taken in at the Yaba Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) before his death on Monday, June 15th.

The Publicity Secretary of APC in Lagos, Mr. Seye Oladejo revealed that “Its true, Osinowo is dead. This is regrettable at this critical period.”

APC statement read, “The All Progressives Congress, Lagos State, regret to announce the passage of Senator Bayo Osinowo, the senator representing Lagos East.

“We commiserate with our National Leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his immediate family and the entire Lagos State APC on this shocking loss.
