The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) records 490 new cases of coronavirus, June 16.

The states in which the new cases were recorded include;  Lagos state with 142 new cases, FCT with 60 cases, Bayelsa with 54, Rivers 39, Delta 37, Oyo 30, Kaduna 26, Imo 23, Enugu 19, Kwara 17, Gombe 11, Ondo 10, Bauchi 8, Ogun 7, Borno 6 and Benue 1.


The total number of cases rises to 17,148 with 5623 discharged cases and 455 deaths.
