Manchester United confirms an extension to Odion Ighalo's loan deal which will keep him at Old Trafford until January 31 2021, the deal was initially set to end at the end of this month. The premier League is set to resume by June 17 and players are to resume training.

The manager Solskjaer said:

“They [Shanghai Greenland Shenhua] have been great towards us, allowing him to play for his dream club. It’s been a dream for him and hopefully he can finish what he started and win a trophy with us.”

He also confirmed that the players have been training and are doing very well.

“Everyone’s looking sharp, everyone’s been in with a good mood and we’ve been splitting up in groups, so [working in] fours and fives together, and they’ve really done well. So far it’s been good,” Solskjaer told MUTV about the players returning to training.

Ighalo has score a total of 4 goals in 8 appearances with Manchester United at the start of the season, which was put to halt due to the global pandemic.
