The interpol have confirmed the arrest of Nigerian big boy spenders, based in Dubai popularly known on Instagram for living the lavish lifestyle and driving exotic cars and wearing designers.

Commissioner of police (CP) Interpol in Nigeria, Garba Umar confirmed the news saying, 

“It is true that Hushpuppi was arrested by the INTERPOL. We are currently working on bringing him to Nigeria to face charges of fraud. Some of the offences were committed here in Nigeria and he has to answer for them. He is not alone in it; there are accomplices in the country who we are currently on their trail” he said.

They were arrested after being secretly investigated by the US secret service on reports that suspected Nigerians broke into personal information of citizens and used false unemployment claims to make away with millions of dollars.


However, A social media user alleged that Hushpuppi was arrested alongside Mrwoodberry over defrauding native Americans of over $35million supposed to be used to get ventilators, Hushpuppi and Mrwoodberry were allegedly arrested by the Interpol and FBI in Dubai. Read here.
