627 new cases of coronavirus was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease control (NCDC), June 12, 2020.

Lagos 229, FCT 65, Abia 54, Borno 42, Oyo 35, Rivers 28, Edo 28, Gombe 27, Ogun 21, Plateau 18, Delta 18, Bauchi 10, Kaduna 10, Benue 9, Ondo 8, Kwara 6, Nasarawa 4, Enugu 4, Sokoto 3, Niger 3, Kebbi 3, Yobe 1 and Kano 1.

The total number of recorded cases in Nigeria rises to 15,181 with 4891 patients recovered and 399 deaths.

The NCDC however gave new directives and restrictions for the easing of lockdown phase 2.

Public Space
  • Face Mask Mandatory 
  • Provision of soap and running water/sanitizers, for facility/business owners
  • Maintain 2 meters apart when outdoors 
  • Curfew time is 10pm to 4am
  • Temperature checks is mandatory in church, banks, mosque, e.t.c
  • Funerals is limited to attendees of more than 20 people.
