The Special adviser on Media on Publicity to the president has debunked rumours that the President will adress Nigerian Citizens today Monday, 18th May.

Yesterday, the National Coordinator of Presidential task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Aliyu Sani appearing on Channels TV, said that the President will address Nigerians today. 
 
However, Femi Adesina, the special adviser on media and publicity to the president took to his twitter to debunk the rumours in his statement;

"No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps."
