Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday, 23rd May confirmed 265 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.


In Lagos state alone, 133 new cases were recorded, in Oyo 34, 28 in Edo state, 23 in Ogun, 22 in FCT, 6 in Plateau, 5 in Kaduna, 3 in Borno, 3 in Niger, 2 in Kwara, 2 in Bauchi, 2 in Anambra and 2 in Enugu state.

The all time recorded cases of coronavirus virus in each state are represented below with Lagos having the highest number of total recorded cases.


Nigeria has a total number of 7526 recorded cases since the outbreak of the virus, with 2174 discharged and 221 deaths.
